What's new at www.caict.org?

Armed with determination and inspiration from the words of Margaret Mead, the CAI-CT Website Committee took on the daunting task of building a better website for all members and visitors. I had the honor of serving with the thoughtful and concerned citizens of this committee: Catherine Pieczynski of Tomasetti, Kulas, and Co., and CAI-CT's own Kim McClain, Ellen Felix, and Kerry Burrows.

Our beloved website was showing signs of old age. The hyperlinks were starting to rust and we decided it was time for a new and improved version. Voila! The 2007 version of www.caict.org is up and running and ready to serve you. Log on today and experience it for yourself. You'll notice an improved experience and more information right at your fingertips.

Greeting you on every page is our new slogan, "Building the Best Communities in Connecticut". We are very excited about this message as it succinctly describes what we do. By offering educational programs, publications, and networking opportunities, our organization is a vital meeting place for all who live, work, or provide service to the community association marketplace in Connecticut.

What can you expect to find at the new virtual home for CAI-CT? After arriving at the home page, you can quickly navigate to the section of the website that holds the information you are seeking. For starters, you can find a list of upcoming CAI-CT events, including methods for you to participate. You can use the website to make your plans for all of the great CAI-CT events offered for your benefit throughout the year.

But it doesn't stop there. Information specific to the various types of members is found in a button menu. Simply choose the button that's right for you and you are off to the website content developed for you. The new 2007 Vendor Directory is online, as is the Virtual Trade Show. Between the two, you can find just about any product or service that your association may need to purchase this year. It's never been easier to find what you are looking for while supporting our community members. Buy CAI!

Whether you are a Property Manager seeking educational opportunities or a Business Partner seeking networking opportunities, www.caict.org has what you are looking for. Are you a community association Board member looking for information on how to better serve your community? You'll find lots of information to help you get the job done. Of course, we've provided quick access to all of the offerings on the national CAI website as well. The bottom line is that www.caict.org reflects the needs and interest of you, our valued members.

We have redefined the user experience with beautiful graphics, pleasing palettes, and an easy to navigate menu system that gets you where you want to go. Bookmark our site and visit often.
